Yes, under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic.) and the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2007 (Vic.). Conditions of compliance The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) has established minimum standards in relation to student enrolment numbers, enrolment policies and enrolment registers. If you have to comply, what do you have to do? Primary schools must have a minimum of 20 students enrolled. Secondary and P-12 schools must also have an enrolment of 10 or more students for each secondary year level for which the school is registered. Schools must have a clearly defined enrolment policy that complies with all applicable State or Commonwealth laws. The enrolment register should show that the number of students enrolled in the school is as many, or more than, the minimum standard required by the standard or than the minimum number as otherwise approved by the VRQA.
