Obligations of schools in the expenditure of funding recieved through the Resiliency Program.

AISV Compliance Framework

Resiliency Program

Please scroll to the bottom of the page for contacts and links

Do you need to comply?

Yes, if your school receives funding through the AISV Resiliency Program.

Conditions of compliance

The Victorian Government has provided funding for independent schools to use in student welfare support aimed at preventing youth suicide.

Independent schools can apply for funding in two areas related to the development and promotion of resilient students. Both areas must focus on primary prevention strategies rather than day-to-day crisis management.

The two areas are:

  1. School based innovative projects
  2. Professional development for school staff.

Funding criteria have been drawn from the Victorian Government's Framework for Student Support Services.

If you have to comply, what do you have to do?

Schools will be required to account for any funding received by the submission of a report outlining their project and detailing any resources used. Schools will also be required to take part in one of a series of workshops designed to share strategies and best practice.

Details of previous Resiliency programs and associated reports from participating schools are available from the AISV website (please click here).

What are the consequences if you don't comply?

You may be required to return any funding received.
