Compliance and accountability information related to Government funding, targeted programs and registration requirements

AISV Compliance Framework

Australian Government Quality Teacher Program (AGQTP)

Please scroll to the bottom of the page for contacts and links

Do you need to comply?

Yes, if your school receives funding through the AGQTP.

Conditions of compliance

The AISV AGQTP project provides funding for professional learning activities for teachers through school-based professional learning projects.

If you have to comply, what do you have to do?

Each participating school will be required to report against the following indicators:

  1. Provision of teacher AGQTP participation data by:
    • Teacher category (length of service, school role)
    • School type
    • Priority area of involvement
  2. Provision of data that indicates the extent to which teacher skills and understandings have been improved or updated, in relation to: curriculum innovations, student learning in the priority areas and teaching practice (pedagogy), as a result of participation in AGQTP activities
  3. Provision of data which indicates the degree to which student outcomes (student knowledge, skills and understanding, student engagement and motivation) have been improved as a result of teachers' participation in AGQTP activities.

The mechanism for collecting this data may involve surveys of AGQTP Coordinators, focus group meetings and reports tabled at Learning Area Network meetings.

All participating teachers will be required to provide data to online surveys at the completion of the project and, in some cases, six months after its completion.

What are the consequences if you don't comply?

Your school may be asked to repay any funds it has received.
